Mr Stephen Kerry, Hereford Town Clerk, visited 1st Hereford Scout group as judge in their recent cooking competition.
 
It was a great evening of teamwork, with patrols using country themes of Canada, India, Italy and France.

Farm to Fork Trail at Tesco :-
South Marches would like to thank Tesco for letting our young people take part in their Farm to Fork trail, where they have learnt a great deal about healthy eating. We have recently heard that this is going to be discontinued soon.

Kington Scout Group ;-

38 Young People in Kington try Scouting :-
On Saturday there was a launch day at Kington, which was very well attended. Activities on offer included badge making, camp donut, lego, grass seed heads and biscuit cooking. Lots of fun was had.
As a result there were 16 Beavers and 22 Cubs at the first meeting this week.

Annual Lego Competition :-

This year as well as the Lego competition, there was an opportunity for Cubs to take part in a Chess competition. Again most packs were represented as the Cubs had much fun and laughter creating new models.
